Next class is Wednesday 4th Feb at 10.30am

This book was made by the talented Sook San at my class on the 24th. She used Bravo Burgundy and Old Olive and I'm sure you would agree she did a stunning job.

This one was made by Sue Brown using lavendar lace and certainly celery and again I think it looks fantastic.

If you would like to make one of these birthday books on Wednesday the 4th February at my place in Baulkham Hills please email me, along with your personal colour choices to reserve your spot. Class cost is $20 and includes all materials and tools.
If you can not make the class and would still like a kit I have some here for $20 (which includes the postage for anywhere in Australia). You will need a stamp set, inks, mat pack and eyelet setting tool to complete the book.

I haven't been stamping nearly as much as I would like to lately, because I have been very busy with invitations. This is one of them that I created for a golden wedding anniversary celebration. I used my very favourite punch for these - the scallop punch and co-ordinating circle punches. They made it quite easy and best of all, alot of it could be made while watching TV. The text was all done on the computer in brown ink which matched the choc chip cardstock.

Birthday Card

It was my grandmothers birthday on Monday and this was the card I made for her. It came about by using some scraps I had out on the table. (But I won't tell her that!)

Birthday book class on Saturday the 24th January and Wednesday 4th February

This weeks class is a special days book. For those not sure what this is, its a book where you record all the birthdays, anniversaries, and other special dates in it, so you never forget a special occasion. I have designed this so you always see two months at the one time, so those dates early in the month don't sneak up on you when you turn the page. It is a relatively simple class, just lots of repetition, so its suitable for beginers. This book should be displayed in a place you look at often (mines in the kitchen), so it would be nice if it co-ordinates with your decor....(it would make a great gift too) so if you let me know which two Stampin' Up colours you would like to choose I will do my best to accomodate you. I have used pink and sage, but other colour choices could be bashful blue and chocolate chip, old olive and burgundy, wasabi green and soft sky, rose red and celery, etc, etc. Oh, and it uses the free set Botanical Blooms - such a pretty stamp set - I love it!
If you would like to attend this class on either Saturday the 21st or Wednesday the 4th February email me with your colour choice to reserve your spot. For those that have already booked a spot, please notify me with your colour preference.
Only one week to go before my youngest starts school....soooo exciting!

A class for kids on Wednesday 21st at 10.30am

If the kids are needing some plans this Wednesday I have a class planned where they can make this dinosaur card and a few other creations. (This card design is based on a box I saw on Carol Dunstans blog.) The card uses lots of punches and some really easy stamping using an everyday object.

They will also make this bag, where there will be a choice of colours for them to choose from, and they can place there initials on.

And they can also make this magnetic bookmark using some stamping and crayon resist technique.
This class is for children aged from 6-15yrs old and is $15 inclusive of all materials. Class starts at 10.30am and should finish around 12 noon.
If you have children that you think would like to attend please email me to reserve a spot.

Another card using polka dot punches

This is a super quick card I made using the sale-a-bration set polka dot punches. The flowers are made so easily as they are simply punched out. I love how the Stampin' Up stamps have co-ordinating punches! The buttons are faux, made with card stock.

Would you like Polka dot punches for FREE?

This card was made using 'Polka Dot Punches', a free set available with every $100 purchase. I love this set because it works with all the Stampin' Up punches which makes it super easy to use. I must admit I was not convinced at first....but now I think its one of my favourite sets. It wierd how some sets you just have to use before you realise how wonderful they are.

The 'With love'' on this card comes from another free set 'Yummy'. I just inked the word section of the stamp with a marker- so easy!

This card uses 'Eastern Blooms' available in the summer mini. I instantly thought this would be a versatile set because it includes several flowers of different sizes. The words are from the 'For Father' set, also in the mini.

And I thought I would try the card again, using different colours and felt flowers. If you are ever stuck for ideas, why not try this, its amazing how different they can look, and often you like the second card even better than the first.

Most materials for these cards were from Stampin' Up.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday.
If you are not basking in the sun on a tropical island and would like to spend some time making cards and a gift tag this Saturday I have a class on for all those interested. We will be using lots of new stamp sets from the summer mini. (Have I mentioned before how much I love using new sets! ) The class will focus largely on using markers with stamps, but will also include some watercoloring. ...Oh, and also some new very cool punches. (And you know I'm addicted to punches!)

Lots of marker use in this card.

I have used new papers and stamp sets in this card.

This stamp is from 'For Father' set. Isn't it cute!

It's Sale-A-Bration time!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I just love this time of year. No schedules to follow, sleep in every day, stay up late every night. Love it!

I have just started to create some more samples for you, so stay tuned in the following days to see some cards using the new stamps in the summer mini.

However in the mean time, let me tell you a little about Sale-A-Bration.
This starts on the first of January and runs through till the end of February.
If you spend $100 during this time then you get to choose one of 4 lovely limited edition stamp sets FREE!

Sale-a-bration is also a great time to sign up to be demonstrator. You get an extra stamp set of your choice from the Idea book and catalogue up to the value of $79.95 free. So for only $324 you get $650 worth of Stampin' Up! products. Contact me if you are interested.

There's also great hostess benefits if you would like to host a workshop in your home. A workshop is a great introduction to Stampin' Up products. Everyone gets to use the products in a make and take and if the workshop sales reach $600 you get an extra stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue on top of the generous benefits already available. And at this time of year, that's really easy to achieve, and I guarantee it will be a fun get together with friends.

If you don't have a Sale-A-Bration brochure yet, contact me so I get one to you.

Cheers
Michelle
