Class date changes

Sorry everyone for the changes in the class timetable. I have had an incredibly busy week with getting all my tax done for my office job, and have not had the time to put into creating a class I was proud of. I will have some samples to show you soon for the new dates for the interactive cards class. I think you will like them and it will be worth the wait.
See you soon.

More peach!

After making the last peach parfait card for the class I decided to use the scraps on the desk to create another card. I often do this - I think I am going to make less mess by using up things on the desk, but I always seem to get out another dozen things that will need putting away later....do you relate?

This is the simple little card I made. Very straightforward, using lots of little punches and stamps for details to add interest.

The stamps are from Tiny Tags. A very well used stamp set in this house!

I still have some room in Wednesday's class if anyone is interested.

Masterclass - 3 detailed cards class

I have had so much fun preparing for this weeks class, as the cards are all my kind of cards. Lots of little details to make the cards extra special. Now I am not saying the cards are difficult, just some parts may take a little more time than usual.

Lots of texture and detail make up this extra special card, and some hand stitching complete the picture. We are even going to complete the inside on all the cards today, and stamp a co-ordinating envelope.

Some of you may be very surprised to see the next card as it uses my least favourite colour, orange. But I am finding if you are going to use orange, peach parfait is quite nice. It's not too bright, and teamed with melon mambo makes for a modern colour scheme.
I have been wanting to make these little ribbon flowers for ages, but as they take a little time have been putting it off...but now is the perfect time to show you. These are perfect to construct while sitting in front of the TV of a night.

My last card was inspired by a few I saw on the Hero Arts Blog. The colour on the flower all comes from water colour pencils without the use of any water. It's so easy and fool proof. You are most welcome to change the colour too, if you desire. Blue and purple flowers could be lovely too.

This extra special masterclass (I have been watching too much TV) is offered on Saturday 18th June at 10.30am and Wednesday 22nd at 10am.
Class cost is $20 and includes all tools, materials, morning tea and envelopes.
All welcome. But please email me to reserve a spot.

With love

Last week I had my downlines over for a bit of a get together which involved lots of chatting about the recent convention and some card making. This is one of the cards we made on the day. I like to make the cards simple enough for them to remake in their own classes or demos if they wish, but still keep it interesting and involve a technique or two. For this card we used the markers to ink up the stamp and then misted it with a bit of water before stamping to give a bit of a watercoloured effect. Very easy, but loads of fun as you never know quite what you are going to get.
If you would like to join my team of lovely ladies (and they are all soooo nice) its been made even easier. You no longer have to get an ABN number if you choose to join as a hobbist, ie just joining for a discount on the products and the other ton of benefits. We are even going to get an additional discount on our birthdays now, yipee! The starter kit is just $289 with every item now able to be changed if you already have it. This kit is valued at more than $515 so its worth joining for that alone. If you decide to drop out at any time, there is no penalty, no charges, no anything....it really is very easy and you become part of a great group of ladies with so many training possibilites.
Stamp set used - Love & Care Hostess set from the Autumn Winter Mini.
Have a lovely long weekend everybody, even if the weather is freezing.
