At my 'kind of recent' mini launch, I thought rather than make more cards it would be nice to create some mini artworks in the form of tags. That way I could incorporate more stamps and tools into each one, because its nice to actually use new stuff rather than just look at it. I used loads of new stamps and dies on these and incorporated some bakers twine and pool party ribbon to top it off.
Here's a closer look at each one.
Recognise any of the designs??? Yep. from the mini catalogue itself1
I have a class this Saturday if anyone is interested. I am still preparing samples so they may not be up till later in the week.

Pretty Pinwheel
Pinwheels seem to be all the rage at the moment. I am seeing them everywhere. So, I thought I best join the fad and make one myself. I have used two of the new papers here, Attic Boutique for the pinwheel and Twitterpated for the background. The glitter border is made with some double sided tape. A cheap and easy way to add some detail without using another layer of paper. Sorry the photo is so dark, I am still finding the best place to take them after the recent changes to my house. Thanks for dropping by.
Its a mixed bunch!
When I saw the Mixed Bunch stamp set and punch, I just had to have it. I have a real weakness for anything flowery, and I just love all the detail in this beautiful stamp set. I know, I know I say I love everything, but I don't. I just don't tell you about what I don't love. That makes sense doesn't it? Anyway back to the card...I paired this up with some lovely pool party seam binding ribbon (yum!) and the sentiments from Rue Des Fleurs. Oh, how I wish I could write like that. Isn't it just lovely.

Special Birthday
This a card I made for a special friend last month, using lots of new goodies and my free SAB papers.
I think I am missing those lovely papers already. Lucky I have lots of lovely new ones to play with - just loving Twitterpated and Attic Boutique.

Labels Collection Dies
If I could only pick one favourite thing from the new mini it would have to be the Framelits Labels Collection Dies. They are without any doubt fantastic to use. I love the fact that I can stamp an image and then cut it out perfectly with the die afterwards. If only everything in life was so easy!
This is a card I made for a recent swap I participated in and also used as a card in my recent class. I was very pleased that all of the eight ladies that made this, had a card that looked wonderful at the end. Everyones watercolouring was perfect. All different, but all lovely. It is easy, with such a great stamp. Its from the Apothecary Art set, one I know is going to get huge workout from me.
To all those with kids, have a fantastic school holiday. Enjoy the sleepins and I hope the two weeks leaves you with lots of time for crafting.

Life around is definitely never boring. Renovations are still in progress, with more mess than ever before. Its scary that I am going to have to organise this chaos very soon.
Now, I mentioned at the last class that I would resume my regular classes every two weeks, but my new table did not arrive on Saturday as planned, so I am going to postphone it to the following week. I really could not have you all sitting on the floor to make cards.....could I?
Hopefully the table and my benchtops for the kitchen will arrive soon. Fingers crossed.
I found the camera charger a few days ago, so I will post some card samples tomorrow.
Till then....
