Christmas in July class - Wed 1st, Sat 4th and Sat 11th July.

The second half of the year is only days away, and consequently the count down to Christmas begins. And this year I am really planning to be prepared, so that last minute rush to make cards and gifts, and the stress it brings is a thing of the past. (I have good intentions, but whether it really happens is another thing altogether!)
The next three classes are all about Xmas cards and tags. I have made a selection of cards (so far 12, they are not all pictured) and you can make five of your choice and a few tags (not pictured), to help get you started on your xmas preparations. They are all made using the 'I Wish' Simply Scrappin' Kit, so are all super easy and quick to create.

One card will include a friends name, so think about who you would like to make this card for.

All the cards have lots of glitter accents, but this is just not showing up at all in the photos.
This class will be on Wednesday 1st July at 10am, Saturday 4th and 11th July at 10.30am. The class cost is $20 and includes all materials and tools. All welcome, but please email me to reserve your spot.

Some new home cards

When I was asked to make some new home cards, I knew straight away exactly what I would use - my new Neighbourhood wheel. I just love the hand drawn character in this stamp, so cute. After wheeling on some very vanilla, I wheeled again on some urban oasis paper to paper pierce one of the houses, added a title with rub ons, a few flowers and pearls and that was it.

This one uses the lovely Rasberry Tart papers, but was contructed in the same way as the first. I used some stickers for the title and a few gemstones for some sparkle. The scallop circle was simply made by punching lots of 1.3cm circles from pink pirouette and adhering them behind the large white circle. This is easy if you use repositionable adhesive for this because it gives you the chance to play around with their position.

Felt flower card

This card came to together so quickly and easily. I simply used some Urban Oasis paper for the background and sponged the edges with creamy caramel. Then I used some old book paper (library's often sell old books very cheaply) and stamped the Baroque Motif swirl in Choc chip and sponged the edges again with the creamy caramel. Then just added some felt flowers in baha breeze and choc chip, and some gemstone brads as centres. The greeting is from Three Little Words and raised up on dimensionals. If only every card was this quick.....

Rose card class on Wednesday 17th June and Wed 15th July

This class uses the beautiful a 'Rose is a Rose stamp set'. So if you would like some more practise using the stamp-a-ma-jig then this is definitely the class for you. The card above is pretty simple and won't take long to make. (I promise!). We will also use some crystal effects on the card to give some added dimension.

This card uses the 'Bella Rose' papers and 'Friends 24-7' stamp set. Another nice easy one.

Then there is this card which was actually inspired from a Maxwell and Williams coffee cup, it includes lots of layering.

This card uses some more crystal effects and a gold ink pad to create a medallion to really highlight the rosebud.

The class is on Wednesday the 17th of June at 10am and Wednesday the 15th July at 10.30am (in the school holidays). The class cost is $20 and includes all materials and tools, and a light morning tea. Please email me to reserve your spot.

Card book class on Saturday 6th June at 10.30am

The next class is on Saturday the 6th of June at 10.30am and we will be making a "Special Days" book. This is a book to record all the birthdays and anniversaries of your friends and family, as well as a place to store cards and receipts associated with the event. I think it would make a beautiful gift for any women. (I'm starting to think about Christmas already!)
I will have a choice of three different papers you can make your book in. So have a think about your preference before Saturday. The one pictured above uses Bella Bleu papers.

This pic shows the pages inside the book.

And this book is made using Tea Party papers - such pretty colours!

Don't use just love those new filigree brads.

The other colour choice will be using the Spring Silhouette papers pictured here.

If you would like to attend the class on Saturday at my home in Baulkham Hills please email me to reserve your spot. The class cost is $20 and includes all materials - (this is a bargain when you see the amount of material used in this class!).
All welcome.
If you can not make the class on Saturday, but would like to purchase a kit with instructions please email me for details.
