Bag of cards class - May 28th - 10am

Hi everyone,
My next class is on Wednesday 28th May at 10am and
we will be making this bag and four cards to go in it.
The cards are really easy to make and use a fantastic
technique called crayon resist. We will also be using
a wheel, flowers, gold cardstock and gemstones to
decorate the front of the bag. The bag would also
be a fantastic size to put a mini book in - great for gift giving!
If you would like to attend please email me to reserve your spot.

Thank you card

I just love the Spring Silhouettes papers from
Stampin' Up catalogue with the Sky Blue card.
It's just such a pretty combo, I had to use them
on this card. I also used the white embossing on
vellum to create the flower, and the new rub ons.
Hope you like it.

Fallan's card

This card was made by Fallan Perry.

Have you ever thought you would not be able to create the cards in a class. Well this card was made by a lovely girl who has never attempted any papercrafting before. You would have to agree she did a fantastic job on this card. I was thoroughly impressed. If you would like to attend a class, please don't be worried by any lack of experience, you too can create a masterpiece.
Thanks Fallan for sharing your beautiful card!

Shabby Chic card and bag class - Wed 30th April 10am

I have really enjoyed making next weeks class. It is quite different from my usual style. It includes lots of ageing techniques, paper tearing, flower colouring and some sewing. If you haven't sewn on paper before this is a great way to get started as the style lends itself well to imperfect stitching. (I'm really good at that.) We are using the brand new Stampin' Up papers, flowers and pearls which I just love. The card can be used as a great mother's day card or I have many other stamps to choose from, (aunt, sister, friend, etc). And I will include the materials to make the two bags - one of which may have to be finished at home. One will hold a small notepad and the other will be a bag suitable for a small gift.
I'd just like to add that the $20 does include all the materials for the day and there are no further costs. If you are a beginner you ar more than welcome to attend, I'm sure you will be amazed at what you can accomplish in one lesson. Would love to see you on Wednesday.

A really quick card

Just thought I would share this really quick card with you all. It is made with the Simply Scrappin' kits. These are really intended for scapbookers, but I just love them if I need to make a card really quickly. This card only took 15mins to whip up because all the pieces are pre-cut stickers, so easy!

Just a reminder that the next class is the 30th April due to the school holidays. We will be making a shabby chic style card with lots of the new designer papers. I will post the sample on Monday
Winter Bright Simply Scrappin' kit, Soft Sky ink pad and dauber, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling diamonds glitter, Stampin' Dimensionals, Satin Ribbon

Lots of vellum class and free catalogue - Wednesday 2 April

Hi everyone, hope you had a lovely Easter and some time to do a little scrapbooking or cardmaking.
In Wednesdays class this week, we will be using lots of vellum cardstock to complete three cards. This is a material not used nearly enough as the results you can achieve are amazing.
The first card has vellum flowers and a vellum base. It looks very elegant, and depending on the sentiment used can be suitable for lots of occasions - wedding, enegagement, birthdays and sympathy.
The second card uses vellum as a mat, (a terrific use for this is in scrapbooking). The card is inspired by one I saw on Rachel Capps blog and just loved the use of the blossom.
The third card we will complete has colored, embossed flowers, a technique that is simple and quick and always looks teriffic.
All the cards above are suitable for beginners as well as those more advanced, so don't be afraid to give it a go.
Stampin' Up has a brand new beautiful catalogue out, full of exciting samples and gorgeous products and I've a free one (RRP $12.95) for those that attend the class this week. You'll love it!
Hope to see you Wednesday.
P.S. You will need a trimmer and scoring blade (if you have one) for this class.

Waterfall Card Class - March 19th - 10am

Waterfall cards (or sometimes called flipper cards) have been around for a while, but are great fun to make and play with. So I thought it would be nice to make one next week using the beautiful Enchante papers from Stampin Up which are only available to the end of March. It was hard to photograph this card, but you pull the tab at the end and the pages flip over, really cool! This make a great card for someone special or you can stick it on a scrapbook page and fill with photos to make an interactive element on a page. It's surprisingly easy so you will have no trouble making lots more of these at home. Hope you can make it.

Wedding Card

This is a wedding card I managed to finish on the weekend. It's a simple card using shimmer papers to give it some extra punch.
