I love this time of year, where you still have a ton of time before christmas, but its close enough that you want to get started on your cards. With the new mini catalogue in my possession, I just want to make christmas things all the time. It's an amazing catalogue with so many great new stamp sets with matching dies or punches.
One of the first set of stamps I had on my 'got to have' list was the Wondrous Wreath set, which I have used on this card. The stamps are so versatile and Stampin Up have cleverly designed a simple way to match up the images. I love it. And the dies are to die for. I love the beautiful scripted fonts in the words Joy and Noel, as well as the matching Wreath die complete with ribbon.
If you don't have a copy of the mini yet, and don't already have a demonstrator, contct me and I can get one out to you pronto.
Thanks for sharing a piece of your day with me.

More peacocks
As promised, I have some more peacock cards to share today. First up, a simple white embossed version, decorated with the incolour sequins. I think this is my favourite of all the cards. I just love the colours in the tail.
And I just had to try colouring one with my blendabilities. It took awhile, but was really relaxing to do. Something fun while working away and watching the telly. I often work like this.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit and hope you have enjoyed looking at my perfect peacock creations. All materials to make these are available from my online store. just click on the link at the side.

Peacock Pics
Have you noticed the Perfect Peacock stamp on page 170 of the new catalogue. Its beautiful. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and have a play. I started by casing something Shelli made at last convention. I love how she used the pistachio paint over the typeset paper, and all those shimmery sequins. Wow! Tiny little dots of gold dazzling details fill the center of the sequins so you can't see the hole. Easy and effective.
Then, because I love Tempting Turquoise, I tried the Peacock on that, with some sponging and used the same gold sequins. An easy card, but it does take a while to stick all those sequins on. The 2-way glue pen is a must for this.
I have two more cards to show you which are more stepped up versions of these cards which I will check back later to show you. Stay tuned.
Stay safe and thanks for dropping by.
