Its hard to believe I am doing a Christmas class already, but we all know that christmas just sneaks up on us quicker and quicker each year, and its a good feeling to feel you are prepared.
My first card is pretty angel card, with loads and loads of sparkle. I am a sucker for a good angel, I just love them!
Then we are going to do some watercolouring on this cute elf card, using SU's lovely watercolour paper to make it super easy.
Then its a simple little gingerbread man card. I have seen versions of this around the web, and then at a recent team meeting, the lovely Belinda Hennessey made one which reminded me how cute they were, and I just had to share him with you.
My kids would have demolished the gingerbread entirely in minutes. They don't mind a good gingerbread man cookie.
And I thought I would finish with a quick easy card, you could easily make up, if you require alot of cards to send out.
This class will run on Saturday the 28th and Wednesday the 1st of August. Class cost is $20 and is all inclusive. Email me if you would like to attend and get a head start on your xmas cards.

A card made by my Mum
My mother made this card using SAB papers from earlier this year. Isn't it cute?
I love how she uses so many flowers on the card and the red glitter paper just sets it off nicely. Do you know you can still order this? That is the red and silver glitter paper from the last mini as they are carryover items.

A great card for a boy
A simple card using the Take a Spin stamp set, without the spinner hands. I think this would be a perfect card for the slightly older boy. What do you think?
You are invited....
to a fundraiser for the cancer council on Saturday the 18th of August.
Yes, it's that time of year again, and this time we are hoping to make it even better than ever. We have a beautiful location at Nirimba Precinct Tradewyns Cafe/Function Centre Quakers Hill, with plenty of parking and a lovely room with a beautiful area for creating and one for the important cuppa. $25 will buy you a ticket which will include a goody bag, make and takes, morning or afternoon tea, tons of inspiration, a chance to win great prizes and contribute to a great cause. We have limited seating so RSVP quickly if you would like me to reserve a spot for you. All welcome, as the more money we can raise the better. Email me at lovemumandme@bigpond.com
Would love to see you there.
Cheers

From a friend
This beautiful tag was given to me by my lovely friend Sara. I love the colour combo she used, pumkin and river rock, and the use of different textures, such as the embossing and beautiful shiny ribbon. I have a feeling the satin ribbon will retire in August and I am devastated already.

I really love this card
This card was a total case from Amy Celona, a US demo. I just loved it, so did not change a thing. I must make another one, as this card has already found a lovely home.

Male Cards
This was the male class we did last week. Some simple cards, because let's face it, we don't want to spend too long on cards for the other gender, but nice all the same.
The card above was one of my favourites because it is quite functional. The blue part is actually a pocket you slip the card into, and could also include a gift voucher, lottery tickets or even a chocolate.
I have seen several versions of this card floating around on the web, and included a bit from all of them to make my own. Lots of punching, make this a fairly simple card, that would be great for any golfer.
This was probably the quickest card of the day. Some simple masking and stamping made this very quick. We did have to use the stamp-a-ma-jig with it though.
And lastly, my fathers day card for Dad. He is a bit of a car fanatic, so this will be perfect for him. It included some embossing with kitchen foil.
Now this class was last week, but if you would like to get a group together of five or more, I am always happy to run it again at my house or yours....and that goes for any class that uses current material. Anything too old, I will be unable to get my hands on the materials.
Cheers to you all, I hope you are having a great week.

Male class 14th July
Hi, I thought I best drop in and inform you I have the male class all ready to show you, but......computer problems are not allowing me to upload any photos. So sorry, but the class is going ahead as scheduled, but you won't get a sneak peek of the projects. I can tell you though you will be making four cards, one with a tree with some masking, one with a car/boat/plane image, one with a punched golf scene and another with a tie theme. Class cost is $20 and starts at 10am this Saturday. Please email me if you are interested in attending.
