If you are anything like me, you probably have quite a stash of paper put away safely in a cupboard. I have tons, and lots of little scraps I just can not part with. "You just never know when they will come in handy" I always say. So for this class I thought I would share a few ideas on using up those small scraps you most probably have lying around.
The first card uses the classic quilted background, an easy way to use all sorts of scraps up. Using a punch, makes this doubly quick and easy.
This card uses the larger scraps you have on hand and also includes a lovely flower constructed with some packing scraps.
Oh, and a double bow, lesson!!!
Another card using some scraps from various paper packs and another handmade flower.

Making your own flowers is a great way to use small bits of cardstock you have leftover from previous projects. Its really fun and it will give you a great sense of satisfaction later to say I made that myself!
I could not forget the males in our lives, so included a card for them too. This is a great way to use tiny scraps up. Its also quite enjoyable to put together. The card construction is a little different, because I usually find, a male is more likely to comment on this.
This class will be held on Wednesday the 1st of June at 10am (wow, june already!) and Saturday 4th June at 10.30am.
Class cost is $25 and includes all materials. Please email me if you would like to attend so I can have a kit ready for you.
As a special offer to class attendees, I am also offering $20 of free product with every $100 order placed before June 18.

Mixed card class - Sat 14th and Wed 18th May
Lots of occasions call for varied cards and I know I never have enough on hand ready. So for this class I thought we could make a few to fill out your supply. You just never know when you will need them.
The first card is one that would be suitable for a male or female. I must confess I was not going to initially buy this stamp set, but then saw some beautiful samples and gave in. But I am ever so glad I did. It's such a great set to use.
I love the look crystal effects give on a leaf. Just like tiny dew drops.
Sadly, I am needing quite a few get well cards lately, so thought it would be great to include this in the set.....and it includes another great way to use the tulip embossing folder.
Every little (and many big) girls love butterflies, so a pretty pink card was needed to fill a gap in my box.
It includes a pop up surprise butterfly inspired by one I saw Marelle Taylor do recently.
Sometimes you won't need a baby card for years, but then, oops you need a dozen. This card could be used for a shower or the birth of a boy or girl. Very versatile.
And lastly, an anniversary, or you could change this to a wedding card if you desire, to round out the selection.
This class will take place on Saturday the 14th at 10.30am and Wednesday the 18th at 10am.
Class cost is $25 and includes all materials and tools. If you would like to attend please rsvp so I can prepare the kit for you.
All welcome.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to all. I hope your day was wonderful, surrounded by those you love. We so lucked out with weather today, it could not have been more perfect.
This is the card I made for my Mum last night. ..One day I'll get my self organised and won't be making cards late into the night, the night before....one day! The card actually started with the pile of beautifully coloured beads I wanted to use (given to me by the lovely Jann) and I co ordinated the card to match them, with some of my favourite stamps and accessories. The background stamp is French Filigree stamped in a mix of Crumb Cake, Expresso and Perfect Plum.
I used just the tiniest of the Victoria Chrochet Trim peeking out from the sides. I love how thin this lace is that allows me to do this. This was the lace featured in the last mini and is still available, along with the pinking hearts border punch. Oh I adore the detail this punch provides!
And because this card was for mum, I even stamped and decorated the inside.
Have a great day.
