Shaker Box Xmas Card

This is one of the simple christmas cards we made at the last class - a shaker box with some beautiful chunky sprinkles inside. A christmas card is just not christmassy without some sparkle!

Embrace Life

When cleaning out my sample box recently I came across this old card that I have not posted before. It uses the soon to be retired Embrace Life set, and a ton of sponging. The card base is really rust.

Just a few quick cards

I just love the colour Take with Teal, so thought I would whip a few cards with it before it retires in less than 2 weeks. I also used the retiring hostess set Echoes of Kindness, and A Little Birthday Cheer.

New class for Wed 11th and Sat 14th.

This class is all about the last chance list, a list of retiring products from the current catalogue.
I have used cardstock, designer papers, ribbons and stamps for these projects.


The first card also uses the spritzer tool, for an interesting and different effect, and the hostess set Organic Grace.


I thought with Father's Day fast approaching some male cards might be in order, so I have included this card (with greeting of choice) using the Wanted stamp set.

And other male project....creating this cute little gift card holder, that is sooooo easy.
You are most welcome to use another stamp if you are not in need of a 'Dad' card.

A lovely lady, Jackie Wright left me a comment this week, which led me to checking out her blog and she had some wonderful ideas on it. This was inspired from her creation and the card below too.


This is a super easy little card in its own paper envelope. It won't take long to make but I'm sure it would be lovely to receive.

And lastly a simple thank you using the Greetings Eight stamp set, some retiring cardstock , alumium squares and ribbon.

Xmas in July Class

Okay, its August now, but I am holding my Xmas in July class one last time - this Saturday at 10.30am (Aug 7th). These are the projects we will be making.

Last Chance List

Wow, its August already. Can you believe it? The Last Chance List has also arrived, and boy are you going to want to look at it. It's 8 pages long so it may take you while, but you'll be glad you did as many of the retiring products are discounted by 25% and a few are even 50% off. It might even be a good idea to get a pencil and mark the retiring products in your catalogue.

All of the Hostess Sets are retiring of course, including Echoes of Kindness, a set I dearly love.
Here's a card I made using it and the beautiful All a Flutter.

The darker parts of the leaves were completed using a marker. Make sure you check out the savings on discountinued markers. Remember some items will go really fast and are only available till sold out.
