Fishin' Around
I have always loved the Fishin' Around Stamp - maybe because I have always enjoyed watching fish swim around in their little water worlds. Of course, I just had to purchase the stamp as soon as I saw it, and its the perfect stamp to use with hair gel. Yes hair gel. Just put a small amount in a small zip lock bag and attach behind an opening. Voila! you have squishy water bubbles, perfect for this stamp.

Retiring goodies
Yes, its that time of year again, when we say goodbye to some favourite products from the the catalogue. I have always loved making flowers with the fun flowers die. I don't think it will ever be able to leave my collection.

Won't be long till Easter
Hi bloggers
Sorry its been such a long time between posts. I must get back into posting regularly...I promise!
For today I have to share with you a calico Easter Bag decorated with felt cutouts. I love cutting felt with the framelits, its so easy and gives such perfect results. Try it, if you haven't already. I finished it off with some burlap ribbon, some vintage lace and some vanilla seam binding. The tag is made with the stamp set Eggstra Spectacular ($21.95 clear mount) snd sponged with pink pirouette, wild wasabi and soft sky. The calico bags are available for $16.95 for 8.
I am using facebook now, so please visit me there to see lots of up to date pics of my work.

Lip balm anyone?
I love making gifts for christmas. I think it is just so much more special when it comes from the heart. This is a little lip balm holder I have been making recently, complete with leather thong legs.

Hello Noel.
This time of year just gets crazy in my house. There is always so much to do, so much to create and no time for anything like relaxation, or unfortunately blogging. But, I dropped in today to share a card I made recently using an easy woodgrain effect in the background. You simply swipe a burnt brown inkpad over some burnt brown cardstock, followed by some light swiping with a choc chip ink pad. Then run it through the Big Shot with the wood grain embossing folder. Thats it, easy peasy.
To finish the card I mounted some letters and a little holly. I love the texture in this card. Texture really sets a home made card apart from a shop bought. Don't you agree?

Santa's List
I spent a bit of time last week, playing with the stamp set Santa's List. Its a gorgeous pic of Santa, with a bit of an old fashioned slant. I also spent all week singing 'Santa Clause is coming to town'. It's funny how the tune just stays in your head and won't go away. I will be well and truly over it by the time christmas comes around.
This is a nice easy and quick card using Festive Flurry for the background. I have seen snow only twice in my life, but still love snowflakes. They are just such a pretty shape. I have also used a Frosted Finishes Embellishment. All I can say about these is 'Looooove them'.

Woof, Woof.
Boy, its been a while since I have posted here. Life seems to just get in the way sometimes. I have made plenty of cards so my goal is to get them here very soon.
This is a simple card I made recently using the very cute Animal Talk stamp set. I should have bought this ages ago! Its tons of fun to use, and I have alot of dog lovers in my family, so I know this is going to get lots of use. I have also included some candy dots. Wow, these are easy to use. And I think they add that extra something on a simple card.

Washi Banner
The heading says it all. It's a card with a washi banner. Easy to make and fun to play with as the banner is not stuck down to the card. I have used my grunge stamps for a little texture in the background.
