When I saw the cute sample card on page 90 of the catalogue I just had to buy the stamp set 'Take Care'. I just had to, there was no choice... I thought what a beautiful baby, easter or get well card it would make. I kindof cased the card in the catty for the stamps initial inking. Its such a fun card to make, and I love the little birds nest.

Easter ideas

I love making things for easter. I love the fact that a small inexpensive egg can look so incredible with just a little bit of added cardboard. These chicks were fast and easy to make and the egg can be removed without breaking open the package. The wings actually keep the front closed, without any adhesive! The eyes are gemstones coloured with a Sharpie.

The new Simply Threads kits are so easy to make up. I love doing the cross stitch in front on the telly while watching The Block (I'm addicted). With the holes already punched for you, it really is easy so you don't have to think too hard. I love that. Sorry about the blurry photo, I have already given the card away, so could not take another one. I must have had the shakes that day!

Simple and sweet

I love the new little butterfly punch, and I love that I can now layer it. The Bitty Butterfly punch is a must have in my book.

Swallowtail

..that's the name of the new huge butterfly stamp in the seasonal catalogue. I love the detail in it. And its big enough to take center stage without alot of other embellishments. I love that.
I also used the new pool party embossing powder and a little silver too.

A chocolate for Valentines Day

A simple little treat, that was quick and simple to make. I have used products from the Hearts a Flutter Bundle and doilies from the current Seasonal Catalogue. The ribbon was my free SAB gift.

It must be that time of year.... The pretty pink heart in the background is from the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper. Love it.

A Cover Card

There would be no prizes for guessing where this card design came from - the cover of the new seasonal catalogue.
I love the papers, the ribbon rose and the build a brads. Such lovely supplies to work with.

All Dressed Up

I love the new All Dressed Up Framelits. The little dresses remind of the ones I played with as a child. I would sit for hours creating clothes for my paper dolls. Its much easier now though, it only takes minutes with the help of my trusty Big Shot. The All Dressed Up Bundle can be found on page 32 of the seasonal catalogue.

Sale a Bration Kit

I love all the new kits available to us this month, especially the free sale a bration one.

It only took minutes to make this card. You have got to love that.

This one uses the flowers, bakers twine and gemstone from the kit, but i have used my own cardstock. And the envelopes - gorgeous.

Sale a Bration Time

Hi everyone, and thanks for coming back to visit me when I have been away for so long. I had a well needed break from everything computers and enjoyed some lovely time with my long neglected kids. Boy, its been nice.
But its time to get back into it, and I have lots to share with you as I have taken some time out to create these holidays, just not blog.

First up, the most important thing is it time for sale a bration. That is with every $100 you spend you get to pick a free gift from the brochure. This year there are 19 things to choose from, including a punch, stamp sets, ribbon and button pack, diagonal score board, paper packs and even a digital CD. I am sure there is something for everyone in there. I want them all!
My next exciting news is, that come the 1st of February, I have a brand new seasonal catalogue to give you too. Its gorgeous. I have already made some things with the new kits and I love them.....So this Saturday, I will be introducing all thats new at my house in Baulkham Hills.
